Child Safety Standards

Last updated: January 21, 2026

TwoGether (available on Google Play as "TwoGether - Couples App") is committed to the safety and protection of children. This Child Safety Standards policy outlines our zero-tolerance approach to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), our procedures for addressing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and our compliance with all applicable child safety laws and regulations.

1. Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

TwoGether strictly prohibits all forms of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).

Users of TwoGether are expressly prohibited from using our platform to:

  • Create, upload, share, or distribute any content that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children
  • Engage in child grooming — befriending a child online to facilitate sexual contact or exchange sexual imagery
  • Sexualize minors — creating or sharing imagery that depicts, encourages, or promotes the sexual abuse or exploitation of children
  • Engage in sextortion — threatening or blackmailing a child using real or alleged access to intimate images
  • Traffic children — advertising or soliciting a child for commercial sexual exploitation
  • Engage in any predatory behavior targeted at children, including inappropriate interactions such as groping, caressing, or any form of sexual advances

Violation of this policy will result in immediate and permanent account termination, removal of all associated content, and reporting to the appropriate law enforcement authorities and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

2. Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) Policy

TwoGether has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). CSAM includes any visual depiction—photos, videos, or computer-generated imagery—involving a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.

Upon obtaining actual knowledge of CSAM on our platform, TwoGether will:

  • Immediately remove the offending content from our platform
  • Permanently terminate the account of the user responsible
  • Preserve evidence as required by law for law enforcement purposes
  • Report to NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) or the relevant regional authority in accordance with applicable laws, including 18 U.S.C. § 2258A
  • Cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations

We comply with all applicable child safety laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Union.

3. In-App Reporting Mechanism

TwoGether provides an in-app mechanism for users to report concerns, including child safety issues.

Users can report child safety concerns directly within the TwoGether app through:

  • The in-app support feature accessible from the Settings menu
  • Direct contact via our support email available within the app

All reports related to child safety are prioritized and reviewed immediately by our team. We take every report seriously and will take appropriate action in accordance with this policy and applicable laws.

4. Target Audience and Age Requirements

TwoGether is designed exclusively for adults aged 18 and over. Our app is a couples-focused productivity and communication application intended for adult users in romantic relationships.

  • Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account
  • Our app is NOT directed at children under 13 years old or teenagers under 18
  • We do not knowingly collect data from minors
  • If we discover an underage user, we will immediately terminate their account and delete their data

While our app is for adults only, this does not exempt us from our child safety obligations. Regardless of our target audience, we maintain strict policies against CSAE and CSAM as outlined above.

5. Legal Compliance

TwoGether complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations, including:

  • COPPA — Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (U.S.)
  • GDPR — General Data Protection Regulation (EU), including provisions for children's data
  • 18 U.S.C. § 2258A — Mandatory reporting requirements for CSAM
  • Google Play Child Safety Standards Policy
  • Tech Coalition Child Safety Standards

We have processes in place to report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or relevant regional authorities as required by law.

6. Child Safety Point of Contact

TwoGether has designated a specific point of contact for child safety matters. This representative is positioned to speak to our enforcement and review procedures and to take action as required.
